Farewell my friends!

Yuppers....it's true!  Your not going to hear from me for awhile.  I'm heading to the kennel.  My family is going on a vacation and the rule is: "NO dog's allowed!"  I think we have already established that I do not like that word!

Anyhoo....I'm going to good ol' Elk Hound Ranch for a "doggie vacation."  I'm sure I will survive, but I'm sure going to miss my "forever Family" and "my peeps".  You guys are the greatest....I will be back a week from next Wednesday with lot's of stories about my stay at the kennel and some really tough questions!!!

Whoops, sorry...had to take care of some business.  Since it's Friday......no question of the day!

Sixty degrees and sunshine.....yea...I'll take it!

It has been a looooooooooooooooong winter here!  Can't tell you how happy I am to see the green grass again.  If I go the rest of my life without seeing snow...I will be fine with that!  I know it will probably cool down again and maybe even snow again but for now...this dog is loving his walks!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

I walk four times a day for 30 minutes each walk.  How many hours do I walk in a full week?

My tummy hurts!

Remember all of those chocolate bones that I was bragging about? Bad idea...my tummy hurts!  I know, I know...dogs aren't suppose to eat chocolate.  Since it was covering my bones though.....I had too.  Oh well, lesson learned!

Last night I slept for 11 hours, if I do that for 13 days straight....how many hours in total will I have slept.......O.k....no more goofing off.....get to work peeps!

Will you be my Valentine?

Good morning and Happy Valentines Day!  Hope you get lot's of candy today!

I hope you gets lot's of cards too! What I wish MOST for you is that you feel loved.....I'm not sure if I have ever told you before but I LOVE YOU all!  I love my peeps! I love writing to all of you everyday, when you write me letters it makes me laugh and sometimes it makes me cry...thanks for making me feel special.  You kids make me feel special EVERYDAY!  So......will you be my Valentine?

Okay...enough of this love talk....time to hit the books!

Question of the day:

For Valentines Day my "forever family" gave me 13 (yup..they love me) boxes of chocolate covered bones.  Each box had a dozen bones each.  How many bones did I get in total for Valentines Day?

I have an idea!

My peeps in Texas know a lot about me!  You know about my love for cheese, bones and cat food.  They know about the struggles with me and the kitty and they know how important I think pencils are.  So, I've been thinking. How about I sometimes I give you guys a QUESTION OF THE DAY?
My goodness, I cannot believe what a GREAT idea this is! My brain must be HUGE!

Anyhoo.....I've been thinking, thinking, thinking and more thinking......and here is my question of the day:

There are 452 pieces of cat food in kitty's dish
I am only going to eat 4 pieces a day
How many days until the food is all gone? : (

Hide and seek is fun unless you have to play with a CAT!

Well....we have gotten lot's of snow and the kitty and I have been playing hide and seek.  She found a pretty good spot here but I found her!

This was a HORRIBLE hiding space....I find her FAST!

Hello....is she even trying?  I thought cat's would be better at hide and seek than this?

I'm heading back outside to play until that darn cat can find better hiding places...ta ta for now!

How I survived the Blizzard of 2011......

Hello,

Well......that was a storm like nothing I had ever seen! This is how it all went down:

Noon on 2/1/2011

3p.m. on 2/1/2011

What you cannot see in the pictures is the sound......the wind is blowing and it is getting crazy out there!
I'm starting to get nervous.

My "forever Dad" has finally made it home from work and I am starting to think I may never get to go outside and "take care of my business" again!  This is what it looks like about 5p.m.

My "forever family" assures me that everything is going to be o.k. because we have a warm home and plenty of food....I hope they're talking about cat food!  After awhile I got bored so I decided to see what kitty was up to so I went to the basement.  Look who is not in the store room? Who does she thing she is?

This is MY seat!  This is where me and my "forever Dad" hang out.  This is where we bond over football and Animal Planet T.V.  I have to do something!

Going to bed and hoping to wake up to a better day.......night, night!

Snow again?????

Yup......that's right!  We are suppose to have a BLIZZARD here today and tomorrow and get over a foot of snow!!!!  How many inches in a foot? Hope someone got that right.

I think I will be staying inside unless I have business to take care of.

Let's see....what will I need for the next two days: a roof over my head, check, comfy chairs and dog bed, check, water, check, dog food, check, cat food, check,kitty,check, cheese, check, bones, check, toys, check, my forever family, check.  I think I have everything I need.

One question....do you think I have big feet?
