Morning Peeps!  I bet that woke you up!!!!! Thanks for all the great letters.  So many of you told be about the song and how you changed the words to help you remember about the water cycle so I thought you would enjoy that.

A few shout outs on the letters:

Ivan promised he would help me with math and bring me a bone....your the coolest Ivan!

Alexis mentioned that she cannot get the song out of her head....me either! Thanks for sharing your pencils too!  If she has loaned you one...should you re-pay her?  Just sayin.....

Angie specifically explained how the water cycle works and I think I have a much better understanding of it now.....thanks Angie!

Mariana explained about mixed numbers.  Want to know something funny?  I thought mixed numbers were when you took a bunch of numbers and mixed them around on the table...kind of like Go Fish.....but now I know better!

Last but not least.....IRVIN...loved your letter Dude but red pen?  Really?  Have we learned anything about pencils?  I still love you man!

We have another storm heading our way in Missouri....I'm starting to know more about the water cycle than I want to know...I'm livin it!  Stay tuned for tomorrow...I'm thinking about writing about my entire day.....that's exciting stuff!  Keep it real....and keep learning.  Mallone is proud of ALL of you!!

My Dad is the best!!!!

Aren't Dad's the best?  I wasn't sure about mine at first...but my, have I grown to love him!  I've heard that some people are wondering why they never see mine and Miss Scheetz's Dad in my blog. One reason:  He works hard and late (so the camera is not usually out) But he exist...here's some proof!

Thanks Dad!  Thanks for working hard and providing me a "forever home." Thanks for the dog and CAT food, for all the bones, and mostly for our walk EVERY NIGHT when you get home from work...your the best!!!!

Have a great weekend!  I got your letters last night but have not  had time to read them all so I will have more to say about that on Monday.  Sounds like you are learning about mixed numbers and the water cycle which sounds VERY interesting.  One letter did catch my eye.  Zahkim drew a picture of the bone cycle!!!!!  Thanks dude.....that was cool!!!  Loved it!  More on Monday........

Happy Hump DAY!

Happy Hump Day!  Or some of you might call it Wednesday but hey....that's how I roll!  It is finally warming up in good ol' Missouri.  Yesterday we were in the 30's which might sound cold to my peeps in Texas but since we have been in the single digits for a long time...it feels good to us!!!!!
My "forever Mom" took me on a new trail yesterday and we walked 3 miles....it was fun!  Not sure what we are doing today but  word on the street is that we are going back to that trail again...yipee!

What's going on in Texas?  Would love to hear what we are studying these days.  Did everybody bring a pencil to class today?  Hope so!!!

I've been thinking......

With all this snow....I've been thinking....a lot!  I've been thinking about where and what I would be doing had I not been adopted this fall by my "forever family".

Would I be outside somewhere and be cold?  Would I have been adopted by another family?  Would I still live in the Kansas City area?  If I were adopted by another family...would they be as nice and patient as this family? Would I have a cat in my house? It's a lot for a dog to think about!

I fell badly for all my friends that still live in dog shelters.  I hope they have found "forever families" too.

I know I said that I didn't like cats but I'm actually starting to love this little sweetie. Sometime I have to pinch myself when I think about my new life!

Moral to this story:  When getting a pet, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE adopt from a shelter or rescue...there are too many unwanted animals in the world!

Enough snow already!

Hey...I love snow but it's out of control.  We got more yesterday....almost 9 inches!!!!

Learning to love....

Well, I promised and now I'm going to deliver.  I think you probably remember that I don't get along very well with our kitty.  It has been over three months and things are just starting to get better.  She is still living in the basement....I think that is best...don't you?

Anyway, we can now be in the storage room at the same time and sometimes we even touch noses!

I guess she isn't THAT bad.  We are learning to love......it's going to take some time.  Do you have anyone in your life that it is hard to get along with?  How did you handle it? We could use some suggestions...that's for sure!

P.S. After this picture was taken I ate ALL of her food.....BURP!

Baby it's cold outside!

Howdy peeps!  Not sure how the weather in Texas has been but it has been cold with lot's of snow here in Missouri the last couple of weeks......

I love to play in the snow and then go inside my warm house and get all cozy!

Hey...what's a dog gotta do to get some hot chocolate around here?

Scat cat!

Found a cat in my backyard this week.....and I didn't like it!  Didn't like it one bit. So I chased her up a tree.

Who does this cat think she is?  My yard, my tree....it's enough that I have to tolerate the kitty that lives in my basement....and now they are in my yard too...I don't think so!

I am going to try to climb this tree......

Is it too much to ask that I live in a "cat free" zone?  I mean, a place where a dog can roam free without fear of seeing a cat, where a cat can't hiss at you or slap you with a VERY sharp paw....that's all I'm asking!
Of course, if there are no cats then there is no cat food.....on second thought...here kitty, kitty, kitty....

Dog tired!

Morning,

Super tired this week friends so I'm going to keep this one short and sweet!

Do you ever have days where you just don't want to get up?

P.S.  I want to give a SUPER SHOUT OUT to my peep, Jancy...I hear she has her pencil with her everyday and she is sharing with her classmates who don't have one....GREAT job Jancy!  Gotta have pencils at school!

I love my friends!

I think I mentioned that over Christmas I had my first official play date! It was soooooooo much fun.  First I want to introduce my new BEST friends.

This is Gracie.  She was a barker! I think she's kind of cute...what do you think?

This is Lola....I thought I was low to the ground...until I met Lola! She might be lower than me but my ears are WAY bigger!!  We had a great time.  We ran, barked and chased each other for over an hour....I loved it!

Just before we left....things got crazy!!!!!

Ok....at this point....I have had enough....time to show these two dogs who the boss is....

Scrub a dub, dub.......

Who doesn't feel better after a bath? It's kind of embarrassing to have you look at me in the privacy of my own bathroom.

My "forever Mom" always gives my ears an extra scrub.  They get pretty dirty from dragging the ground when I walk.

Usually I am crazy after my bath time but since my "forever family" was video taping me this time....I decided not to do it...I'm sorta of naughty like that sometimes.

Did you get some pencils?

YO, PEEPS.......what up?  How was your Christmas?  Mine was the BEST Christmas ever!!! My family had a GREAT Christmas.....here are a few pictures for your enjoyment:
